    QFT.  I laughed at first, then cried when I assumed it was a serious build.  I'd like to see the numbers behind this build making it better than grabbing the end of one of the useful trees.

    This is so true.  Just like when AoC hit, World of Warcraft went belly....oh wait.

    People that dislike WoW expect a game they like to draw off millions of players from WoW.  Does that make sense to anyone?  There is obviously something there that draws them to the game.  YOUR ideal game would not be theirs.  If you are pumped about WAR, you can bet that those people that differ from you are equally un-pumped.

    The only players that WoW will lose to WAR are players that play WoW for lack of other socail outlet.  When WAR hits, they'll leave to check it out.  I'm betting that just like AOC, the majority will come crawling back before their first paid month is up.  It happened with VSoH and AoC.  Hell, a lot thought Hellgate: London would put a dent in WoW subs.  LOL.

    Some children never learn.

    I'd like to see this also, as myself and a handful of friends where I live purchases, played for 2-3 weeks, and unsubbed.  I'm not going to hate on AoC...we just found it..."meh" at the present time.

    Hope it does grow and improve into something less "meh", so I have something to come back to.

  • This patch name has to be the most unfortunate choice of titles I've ever seen.  I understand there is a faction of NPC's in game called "Meatlumps"...but to name a patch the way they did speaks volumes about the people marketing and developing this nightmare.

    I understand your reasons, but i don't see why a statement like "I am sorry Funcom - raped your family - and -murdered your dog-" is necessary.

     

    I know these forums rarely are civilized and constructive (you have to sift through about 200 posts to find one nugget of goodness), but it is statements like yours (from both the fanboys and the haters) that will get everyone even more aggressive.

     

    Yeah it was out of line.  I'll edit it and apologize for that line.

    I wish more forum users and developers would show the same level of responsibility for their actions as ProfRed does.  Your credibility goes a long way with me after this.  Your initial comment put me off, but your ability to see that, edit it out, and apologize says a lot about your character and maturity.
