Is this guy basically saying, you are paying money to get a false sense of satisfaction, endlessly using your time to get that next epic piece, and the result is that it becomes an obsession, and your social interaction with the world outside yer puter is deteriorating, and the only reason you hold a somewhat job is to keep paying for your game sub and electricity to run yer puter and housing to hold it and you to play within from sun up to sundown, does he also mean that when an expansion goes live to your mmo of choice or a major breaking update you may even miss work to be there on opening day, so ineveitably your career suffers as well in the long run, but all these facts that are stated are masked by the false sense of feeling good because your toon in some cyber land that in actuallity does nothing for you or your surroundings, or your community just got some (again false sense of importance) important upgrade in cyberland making you feel like life can wait till tomorrow, because now in can kill x in land y and recieve the dopamine rush of epic gift x. or am i just reading it all wrong. Just something to think about while the world around you goes to hell in a hambasket but you dont see it because you are blinded by the false sense of doing something, or getting something in some cyber-world, when it actually boils down to you being at fault for your surroundings going haywire, as the saying goes, those that dont help change things are just as much at fault as those caousing things to go bad.
the graphics suck? I thought they were decent, i dont think they were on the highest you can have, and besides that how the hell would you run this game playing if the poly count was super high and the particle effects were insane, The graffix look great imho for a game that is to have mass battles of every caliber, if it was otherwise i do think it would be a lag fest galore, i was not too much a hardcore follower of this gamer, it perked my interest yes, but the video just blew me away, I cant wait to blow up yer boat then move to yer guild city and destroy that, and then fly around on whatever those hovering armored battle things were, this game has appeared to have all the things someone might like in warhammer but will not play because they boycott ea-games, DARKFALL....I am ready, EA-games suck my ..........
just my frikkin luck, i was never 9in the if and when debate of darkfall, but i do want to check it out, and i cant get to the page, it is stuck in a perpetual loading, all white page , bummer man!!! Maybe too much traffic ill try again later.
Yes, i still play eq2, I like it as its not such a demanding game as I cant play games like that as i have kids, but it still has it's challenges in dungeons and raids. I am very pleased spirit shards are gone as well as the overly complicated crafting combines that used to make crafting boring and rediculously unessecarily stupid.

Lol, maybe I am paranoid... but I cant forget what EA did to great companies like Origin, Bullfrog and others. For me EA is what for some is SOE, the source of all evil in gaming. If I do them unjust, my bad, but eveything they have their hands in something bad happens. Mark my words.
I mean, seriously, at least the cities were almost ready! How could they not, so close to launch? I admit, its just a feeling, an impression. But when they sell us those 4 cities in some time I can say "I told you so". ;)
No offense, but "everything" EA has it's hands in isn't bad. Lets just look at the awards they took home from Leipzig:
Best PC Game: Spore
Best XBOX360 Game: Mirror's Edge
Best Wii Game: Skate It
Best Online Game: Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
Not to mention upcoming games like Left 4 Dead.
I think it's a littel 5-10 years ago that EA did all that shit. I think they're trying to get their act together honestly.
I mean in the interview with the guys that are making Skate 2 they said it's coming out "When it's Ready." So no more forced schedules and such.
nahhh ea is still at it, still crapping on there community, they just recently cancelled sims online, if they had half a brain they woulda did some type of station pass like soe does with there mmo titles or something.
