  • There is s reason why this game is coded in Java... Jagex= Java Gaming Experts. You got to give Jagex props for making such a great MMORPG from Java. All you people who thinks RuneScape is bad is because of graphics? Look at RuneScapes many skills. Tell me one other MMORPG that has fishing, mining, woodcutting, random events, smithing, crafting, runecrafting, agility, hunting, herblore, slayer, and cooking. None? I thought so. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it sucks. I dare anyone to a Java browser based game as good as RuneScape. All of you are idiots who compare RuneScape to those downloadable games such as World of Warcraft, like DUH' Runescape cannot beat its graphics. Don't need to make any pointless comparisons. Java vs. Java based game. Browser vs. Browser based game. Downloadable vs Downloadable game. Not Java/Browser based vs Downloadable game. A reason to hate a game based on graphics is just plain stupid. Who cares about graphics when gameplay sucks? RuneScape's graphics may not be at your expectations but its gameplay makes up for it and I have to say RuneScapes gameplay beat some 3-D MMORPG's out there. I bet more than 50% of the people who says RuneScape sucks never even played as a member or gotten to level 50, where the harder quests begin. Don't judge a book by its cover, or in this case Don't judge a game by its graphics alone. Also, if you are going to make a come back at me for saying all this, at least make one worth while for me to actually spend some time reading it and not some worthless piece of crap you call a come back.

• • RuneScape 3?

  • Actually there is some evidence of MechScape (Search it up, Google is your best friend). Now, on to RuneScape 3. If the previous people did not convince you that there is NO RuneScape 3, than I hope one more voice will convince you. Jagex has NO plans for RuneScape 3 and is not going to give out information on MechScape (looks pretty sweet). MechScapes graphics (according to the art I've seen looks WAY better than RuneScape 2's graphics.

    To the people who thinks RuneScape sucks- Sure RuneScape 2's graphics sucks, but what is a game that has really awesome and sweet graphics if it lacks a good gameplay? RuneScape may not have the awesome 3D graphics like nowadays in like World of Warcraft (just using as example, I do not like that graphics but most people are familiar with this MMO) but the gameplay in RuneScape makes up for it. I mean, come on, how many MMO's out there that has combat, PVP, PVE, awesme minigames (*hint hint* Castle Wars), FISHING, MINING, WOODCUTTING, and basically surviving in-game (hey, you gotta wood cut to build a house, your own HOUSE, fish to eat food, and cook your own food), don't tell me that isn't awesome.

    RuneScape 3- What I think RuneScape 3 might look like if it comes out (which it won't), it will probably be a download, since the graphics, I hope, will be WAY better. It will probably look like any 3D MMO you've seen, except that the skills (mining, fishing, cooking, defense, etc...) will be kept and the leveling system will be the same. Basically a RuneScape 2 with updated graphics and hopefully improved gameplay. A good reason why Jagex will not make a RuneScape 3. Do you know how many floors and dungeons and rooms and etc... there are in RS2? The world of RS2 is VERY large, it will take Jagex FOREVER to make it as good as RS2.

    Look out for MechScape though! It is going to be sweet (if it does come out)!

  • I enjoy playing Cabal Online and I think it's a great game, but I do not agree with some of your reasons.

    1. It has ok graphics not the best, but it's still amazing

    2. This is a big NO! You cannot compare and MMORPG with an RPG, it just doesn't make sense. It's like comparing World of Warcraft to tetris (Not saying tetris is boring or anything). And RuneScape is Java based, no way it can compare to a downloaded game. RuneScape to me is very fun and enjoyable (even more if you are a member, which is only $5 a month). RuneScape may be boring to you if you are not a member or high level, as in many MMORPG's.

    3. No comment.

    4. Why do EVERYONE has to compare EVERYTHING to World of Warcraft?! If people want to pay $15 a month for a game, let them. They will realize sooner or later (hopefully sooner) how much money they have spent on some game.

    5. Learn to spell... Other than that, I agree, it does rock.

    I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a good f2p MMORPG.
