I've heard such prior at the moment, the "we have no plans to develop a linux client" etc etc speech.
However, I know some people have gotten a bit of the game working in beta as I see in wine's appDB....so I guess that answers the question of "warhammer will run wine whether they intend it or not". Didn't mean as a flame, guess I'll have to wait and see.
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=13139&iTestingId=30644 seems to indicate its about 80-90% there which would mean a few weeks after release it will be ready to go.

Cedega is Crap and wants money. Linux/Mac do have Wine which runs well, but typically takes some programming to get each specific game to work as intended, etc.
Just wondering, has anyone had any luck getting Warhammer online to run on linux or Mac?
I run linux and would love to play and give them my money if it will.
I doubt many beta testers have had the chance to test it, whether for crossfire or nvidia's SLI.
We will probably see answers further down the road when the game is publicly released and nvidia/ati are in the spotlight for good/bad support...probably a month into the game at most.
I know people are even working on getting WINE to work on it, but since it's a closed beta it won't have the testing...thus support may be a little shaky.

To deal with the jumping & dancing dorks CCP could have npc security forces (or even voluntary player ones maybe like the ISO's in chat) onboard the stations that arrest people for moronic behaviour and force them to leave the station for a set period of time.
There will neither be a /dance emote, nor jumping, in ambulation.
It's "ambulation", not "counter strike in space" ;)
We've received no explanation from Eve as far as what will or won't happen. and no, ambulation doesn't tell us what will and won't be allowed. We will know once eve confirms it, and yes, "pvp in spaaaaace" could have a huge selling point. Especially if it looked like battle of proxycon in 3dmark05/06.
Even if you can't jump or dance, there are still an infinite number of retarded things people can do...and don't forget the internet f*wad theory: what can be done stupid, will be done.
What characteristics of an MMORPG do you look at most?
