• • Is closed beta over?

  • Closed beta is still going on, in fact we had another perfomance patch after the open beta and a bugfixes patch today. Seems like Funcom is really working on the clock to try polish the game as much as they can till release.

     

    I actually typed Mythic instead of Funcom for some reason hehe.

  • I got my pc from cyberpower.com, it was actually cheaper to get it from here than getting the parts from newegg and building it yourself, I had 10% discount and free shipping and 3 year warranty.

  • AOC maxes out at 1.6 gigs on my system. Crashing at 1 gig is not memory leak. Sometimes I get that error, but if you press attempt to continue you will go back to the game like nothing happened.

    Also, nice usage of internet explorer. You probally have full of spyware slowing your system down.

    Amazing how much bullshit people can spin just for the sake of negativity.

    LOL, now the debugger was turned off in CB, what else are we going to hear? FYI the debugger has been assigned new shortcut keys and is working very fine. Features have even been improved as we now have access to things like enabling the world wind, which makes the trees sway in the wind, like the grass.

     

     

    
    Could you tell me what the new  shortcut is? Id like to try it out.

  • Since I can speak about perfomance, before the patch I was getting around 25-30 fps with everything turned on, 4x aa and 1920x1200. The stalling was really bad though.

    Now the stalling is gone, and I seem to have gained about 10 fps. Graphics seems to be a bit better, but they made the default gamma a little darker so you will have to turn it a bit up. Everything load much faster, including once you load the game. I hated waiitng for npcs to load, now its much better.

     

    I'd suggest taking a break until the patch hits ob. It really does feel like a new game.
