    I'd be willing to give the game another shot... (I was one of the ones who spent 50 on it back in like september) but I dont want to get raped as a total newbie, and the game has a hell of a build learning curve.

     

    Ok i agree a slight learning curve yes ... however if u havent played in awhile it ll be easy to get back into the game ... right now they gave everyone 10ooo g to toy around with over this qaulifying season as well as All skills and abilities unlocked ... so means u can go a lil wild on artificing  [crafting]  as far as spells and skills well ppl in the game are always willing to show u builds and give tips , those of us playing dont mind as we kn how hard it can be sometimes especially after being away for so long. And on that note alot of the original players aka vets are also coming back and giving feedback ... im sure Bossman would love some extra feedback.

    But hey im not getting paid ot endorse or promote i just  am trying to do my part in helping rebuild our growing community .... anyhow   come into the game and see for urself ... I myself played sporadically after Dec.14 of as i wasnt impressed w/ the age of chosen but the recent developments have got my interests and alot of others peaked so i wouldnt say itd be a waste.

  • This is  geared towards anyone whos gonna read this that has either played FURY or has thought about it ... FURY is a decent game and the team here has been doing a good job of getting back on the right track ... we all kn the woes ... and forewarning IM NOT AN AURAN EMPLOYEE  - believe that .[u can check my post on the fury forums here it ll prove that] . lol

    But now its time to grab some  friends and make some enemies in one of the most fierce and fastest RPG pvp combat in gaming . NO SERIOUSLY grab a friend and make some enemies lol ...  u actually have  a chance in these ladders upcoming   ... skill is ur only advantage ... [ will be flamed by my fellow FURIONS im sure] ... lmao

    Hope that the new FURY LEAGUE is catching ur attention cos u wont regret it and we are looking forward to u joining us .... just come into the game and ull see what ill mean

     to anyone whos not played and thinking of FURY ... dont let the beginning of playing deter or discourage u FURY does have a slight learning curve and u shouldnt expect to just come in and pwn ... unless ur skill is really that good ... thats why SKILL is ur only advantage.

• • FURY PATCH HAS BEEN RELEASED!!!!! THIS IS REAL PPL!!!

  • i was offline for a few days while moving and waiting for the transfer of my services , and of course first thing i do when i get online is check updates and official statements for games im playing or plannin on .... then i go to fury jokingly saying to my GF ... " I bet they still havent updated " .... then i got foot in mouth.

    My immediate reaction was OMG they actually did something positive , first they opend back up the forums... fixed the GC .... and more .... then i kept reading and the one thing im still a bit confused on is the BOT thing.

    As stated bots make the game feel pveish and this game was pvp and needs players not AI i cant communicate with or tell what ot go do or work a tru strategy with. I personally havent played yet so i wont nag or say this was insane til i see for myself which i will be playing later tonite for a test run ... however i do see a pt in having the bots help fill the ques but at same time i guess u need that when theres no one really playing. i guess for tonite [me]  and since whoever came and tested it out some they ll have one more at the time ...

    I also saw something on charges this should be interesting however i think if its RESISTED it should still count against the agressor and misses should be halved or something or  vice versa .... i mean in a real fight,  if abilities such as existed ,   if u were charged and u let loose ur FURY itd still take ur charges away and leave u to build them back up ... just a thought

    im still not pleased with the NO power ups in 1v1 not yet implemented but hey maybe that can still be done i mean thats a simple code all together that can be done in a very short time.

    I hope this fix and the next one with the forums being back up will bring vets and new players into FURY and they make the COMEBACK of the DECADE for a game ... ... if not alteast they are showing they are still trying to improve the game and maybe someday will.

    i stand silented from when i originally posted this thread .... now had Bossman read this and made the BET that we wouldnt see a patch before a 90 day mark  with me id be owing him right now .... i would say i feel an\ for makin this sort of thread ... however im hoping somewhere in these forums they found some answers and more ....

  • theres actually a couple that will be announced later this yr ... Sony and NC Soft had signed an exclusive contract last yr  that NC devs some games [ MMO's ] for SONY's Psp and Ps3 systems. Theres been a few speculations as to which ones are gonna be found on pc and console however its also been stated that there will be all original works in the progress , some believe it may have something to do with Carbine Studios which is like another ANET [ started by  ex blizzard employees] .....which have been workin on and upcoming MMO thats been somewhat kept in secret so far ....

    Id like to think that if they were to do any current ones these would be the possibles that would be found on both

    tabula rasa - very high  plus makin it for both could help combat the slow start theyve gotten + a game like this belongs on console too .

    guild wars - could be possible with the capablities of the PS3 this game though alot of gwer's including myself disagree with it going console could expand the playstations MMO network by millions alone.

    exteel [ maybe prt 2] would be ideal as mech games do well on console they could upgrade this game 10 fold drop into a system and i garauntee itd be a hit - though currently this is a F2p game they could revamp it and make it a downloadable game with DLC

    City of Heroes/ Villians - with them buying the IP and cryptic makin a new one all together and DC still bout to come to ONLINE id like to think that by makin this game on console they ll  be able to compete with the new games upcoming.
