WAR is out. WoW expansion coming in 6 weeks. AoC has a new man at the helm. He has given an update on what they're working on.
I see comments along the lines of both "this will turn it around" and "too little, too late". So I wanted to throw up a little poll to see whether people's thoughts and hopes are the same or differ a lot.
The question: is it too late for AoC to become a healthy game? Let us know both what you think (will they go down or manage well?) and what you hope for.
retarded poll .

(I would quote it but somewhere in this forum there is an open code that is taking the right side of my text boxes in to the next dimension)
I think the RvR would be great! And I will concede that for a game that will have many dozens (I will wait to see if they can actually pull off the 100's that they are hoping for) PvPing the stuffing out of each other will be difficult especially getting it to run smoothly on low end machines and toaster overs like what people are using to play wow and other junk.
I love the idea... but well, can't we have a little depth too? I feel like Oliver holding up my empty video card asking "Please, Sir, can I have some more?" My computer is going to mutany if I don't give it something to do while I am playing Warbummer. I think my G9 mouse has enough computing power to run the depth of this game
How about...
The Spell System and Loot Items from Asheron's Call
The Teaming mechanics from City of Heroes
The Graphics from Age of Conan
The Crafting from Anarchy Online
And the RvR from Warhammer?
Perfect game?
Hell yeah, I want that too!!!
me too problem and i quote from ati / amd . here they said graphics today 20x time more powerful them 5 years ago but most company,s are too lazy too make higher end mmo . want fast cheap way making money is up too the player demand better grahics. NVIDIA PhysX System on board now with new video cards min 512 momory up 2 gigs od ddr 3 ram . todays graphics has alot .
