Actually, you are completely wrong here.  The whole reason WAR pvp works so well is it's just easy and friendly.  You just click the little button by the mini-map and continue on your business.  When you get into a scenario, death is no biggie and you respawn.  Same for keep warfare--death is no biggie.

The instant you go and add player looting you are going to turn off all of the casuals.  You might not realize this, but it is definitely true.

Player looting means that now people really don't want to die, and that dieing can be very very bad indeed for people because they will lose such-and-such item.

Also, having played several pvp games, some with and some without looting, I have to say this:  NOTHING brings out the exploiters like full looting.  Then you get people doing all sorts of damn funny things and taking advantage of who knows how many stupid glitches.

Really, WAR RVR succeeds precisely because it is casual.  Full loot is anything but...

Actually, now that I think about I'm 100% for this rule so I can 1 shot PvE'rs trying to finish their content as chickens.  Should be good hunting. The crying in the forums 1 month from now should be much fun.

Clearly the people obesessed with punishing the "griefer" don't know what they'll be getting themselves into on Open RvR.

Because, like, there will be so many people wanting to PvE on those Open RvR servers...  >_>  Stop and think for a moment about what you are saying.

The chicken rule is fine.  It will have minimal impact on Core servers and basically just prevent griefing there.  On Open servers it will have a greater impact but presumably the Open people have more or less announced that PvE isn't their prioirty anyway.  I think Open people grumbling about it are really gankers using the PvE excuse as a ruse.

Heal number two, insta cast, heals for 5% of your total right away, it can be cast every 2 seconds.

It takes so little mana (action whatever) that it fully regenerates within the global cooldowns. So you can go on forever.

Only a damage that would kill you in 20 seconds has any chance of killing you on the battlefield. Due to low overall  damage output this means at least three opponents need to be banging on you. Most of the time you can heal yourself and your tank on a permanent basis.

      Enjoy your owerpoweredness.

Yeah from the comments: The Druid of Warhammer

You're wrong by the way.  I have run out of action points doing just healing as a (low level, and also as a high level) Zealot.

I have also in scenarios been killed while healing myself full time while only 1 other class (both bright wizards and witch hunters have done it to me on separate occasions) was attacking me.

In summary, what you are saying is bull-shit.  You are doing the standard thing of exagerrating what happens in the hope of a nerf.  It is particularly bizarre that you are doing it before the game has even been released.

Try taking off those rose-colored glasses and actually looking at what happens.

Edit:  Looking at your posting history and the rate at which you frequent the WoW boards, I no longer think you are saying this to nerf the zealot.  It seems a more simple case of you being a WoW fanboy and so exagerating WARs faults in the hope that this will somehow help you.  Grow up, is all I can say.  Your bio says you are 36.  Try to act like it.

So you will go out and buy your big box of warhammer but won't be able to play it because your bank will refuse to hand over your money for it.

The thread you are quoting begins with a post on 25th October 2007 and on the very last page the very last post is dated 20th November 2007.

As far as I can tell, you are trying to resurrect some year old topic on a message board and declaring it "news".

I'm sorry, but you are obviously trolling.
