Many people like to look at new games and just compare and contrast them to their previous game. Wich is usualy their most played.
The problem with this is your expecting to have something just as new and innovative as that game. Now why is that a problem? Because most games are not innovative. They only change and improve things that have worked before.
Now what should have been done while you started play this game? Looking at it from the perspective of never have you played a video game before. Leave your bias of your favorite most prized idolized game at the log in screen of your current new game. Then proceed to have an open mind of the game.
Now after doing this you can actually say you have tested/played a game. Doing anything else will result in you not truly experiencing the game because you have just shut your eyes to it.

Can you link to where they promised to add the cities? All I heard was that the cities were cut into one instead.

Its around.
Ok but you failed to answer my question. I asked for OFFICAL words on the cities returning shortly after launch.
You can look it up yourself why should others do the work for you? Do you get your mom to cash your welfare checks? Just google it and see but noone is denying that they were cut they were just postponed.
So you're saying Gaz has to go find the source to someone else claims? That'd be like Michael Crichton saying its someone elses job to cite the research he does for his books.
Your analogy is completely flawed. She made an argument. She needs facts to have the argument be valid.
With out any evidence of anything she has claimed, her argument becomes void, and thus this thread becomes a waste of time.

In the response to not nerfing Naxx and AQ 40 with BC that's pretty simple why they didn't. BC greens made naxx epics look like childs play stat wise. 60 tanks had 3k hp's. 61 tanks had 6k hp's. No need to nerf bosses if you buff the player base.
I agree also that i hope WAR has great numbers to force WoW to be more innovative. There is never anything wrong with competition. I actually subscribe to both games. I am more of a pve player though and as such prefer wow. But when i get an itch to pvp i'm in WAR.
I would find it more plausible that WAR released a bit early to avoid competition with the WoW expansion than WoW changing their business strategy for a game that to this date has yet to prove its lasting power.
And t6 is going to look worse than shitty greens in WotlK they said there was not going to be such a gear gap. But that was a blatant lie.
Don't know what to tell you besides maybe you joined a low pop server?
And the comment about "flagged" players, you kind of need to go to a RvR area to see other flagged players.
And did you never do a single PQ? Because there is always someone at at least 1 PQ in every zone ive been in.
So yea sucks.
But o well.

I don't know what version of the game the OP is playing, but every single american server is at least on high/high during peak times, and a good portion after and before peak hours.
I see this game reaching about 3 million.
I can see that happening around june or something in 2009, definately not this year. This game is great but we need some more content before we get 3mill......so far I'm hoping we atleast get 1.2mill by the end of this year.... but I'm always a realist, never get my hopes up too much so I may be under-exagerating but so far I think/hope it will be 1.2mill subs by the end of this year, maybe even 1.7
More content? Do I need to go over what has been said countless times on this forum?
Have you even reached Rank 40 and RR 80? Raided a City?
If any of those are no, then no no new content is needed atm. Its been out 2 weeks lmfao.

Well, some pointers I guess could be stuff like:
1. One of the best launches in MMO history.
2. One of the most polished game at launch in MMO history.
3. The most content-complete launch in MMO history.
4. Being the fastest-selling MMO in history.
For me personally, I just think the game is damn fun.
Number 3 is just a piece of bull, what about the 4 citys, the 2 classes, things like that cool idea that orcs would be bigger once they level up and so on? They cutted a lot of content. www.gucomics.com/comic/
The launch were totaly OK but Guildwars launched without a single bugg so I wouldn't call it worldclass.
It's not a bad game at all but come on, you make it sound like a religion, not a game. It is ok to like a game but worship it is a bit to much.
Guild Wars could be considered not an MMO.
Yes there was content cuts, but that does not mean there is less content than any other MMO at laucnh. 6 Starting Zones. Tactics. Moral Abilites. Renown Ranks.
24 different Scenarios. Cant even count how many different PQ's there are. RvR objective in every Zone.
20 different classes.
Now tell me any game that has produced this much content at open?
What is your favourite Rogue archetype class in Age of Conan?
