  • Mines of Moria has the potential to be the most mind blowing Dungeon in history of MMORPGs.

    However, there seems to be completely lack of information on something that is suppose to be on store shelves in a month or two (last time I checked, MoM has been announced for Fall 09). There is a huge lack of screenshots, videos and hype for this expansition. Litch King and WAR have terabytes of stuff on the interweb, while Moria only has a couple of beta screenshots scattered around fan-websites.

    I don't if turbine is holding back more info until WAR is out, or maybe they don't want to spoil the goodies and let the players see the world for the first time in-game, but I personally want to see some official screenshots and game-play videos on the LOTRO or MoM webpages.

    The hype-train had a good start with minesofmoria.com and the mini games on there, but after that, everything kinda died out. The only time we hear about the espansion now is when MMORPG.com talks to one of the devs who DESCRIBES how awesome Moria is gonna be.... WTF, honestly?

    So here is the task for all the FREE PEOPLE OF MIDDLE EARTH: use this thread to share all screen shots and videos and information about the Moria expantion. Post links and pics, and your prediction on how awesome or lackluster the thing might turn out!!! Together we shall discover what lies in the Darkness of Moria!

  • Number wise, without a doubt it will be the #2... I'll even dare to go forth and say that its the only MMO since WoW to have an actual chance of taking down WoW. My reasoning behind that is simple, everyone I know who is addicted to warcraft has been keeping up with WAR news more than I have and know as much about WAR as they do about Litch King.

    However, numbers don't say anything about quality, just look at AoC for proof. WAR will never be as good as LOTRO or EQ(both I and II). It will be fun and addictive, but the depth of the stories and the great community will be missing.

  • I really want to say WAR, but due to the fear of it getting delayed yet again, I will pretend like I have no interest in it until the day I see the game on the shelf of my local Best Buy. And on that day all the anticipation and excitement shall return, my hands will grasp the copy and my legs will sprint towards the register where my credit will gladly swipe it-self and give me the opportunity to stare at the closed game box until my semester ends and I finally get the time to submerge my self in this stellar MMORPG!!!

    Also looking forward to Champions Online, DC Online and Mines of Moria.
