    • So I was reading that UO to AoC thread...

Classes are something that lazy developers thought up.  It is harder to balance a skill based game, but as long as you don't let itemization get out of hand, it can be done.

I see your point.  But if you have a less restrictive class, you will eventually create God like chars and soon you will become bored.  The Realm Online has levels and lets you learn any skill you want.  The problem is you do not have a role in a group.  In The Realm Online, I have been in tons of groups where a Warrior started to act like a Priest and a Wizard was able to fight with daggers as well as a Thief.  If all you guys are interested in Solo play, then all Skill type games are for you.  If you like to get together with Guilds and Groups for grinning and questing, then Skill type games are not the way to go.

    •   While reading this post, this game some how reminded me of Thundar the Barbarian.  Yup, I can see this game turn into this if they add AOC content to it.

    • Not even worth playing for free
    • All I see is people complaining on how the game has not changed and needs to be upgraded.  If you guys left because of this, why are you not playing EQ2.  That is free also.  I tried it for a while and thought oh WOW and EQ combined.  So go play EQ2.
