IMO the solo content outweighs the grouping content. With the addition of Evendim, Tal Bruinen, north/south high pass, and Forochel it's fairly easy to solo to lvl 50 if you want. To me that would be somewhat boring, but it can be done.
I'm just saying grouping shouldn't be forced upon people inorder to do quests, there should be enough solo content for people to do if they can't find a group, which up to this point there really isn't.
No grouping shouldnt be forced... and it isnt in LotrO... there is more than enough solo quest in this game I can assure you! Have you done all the quest in ND, Evendim and Trollshaws (think that zone starts at 33) ?
But grouping is more fun and I too wish it was easier to find groups at times.. (or that people would start using the LFF tool...) But the reason people dont group is because its easier to solo and there is too many solo quests :)
I am almost done with ND quests, I haven't started in either Evendim or Trollshaws.
I totally agree that grouping is more fun. The problem with current MMO's and leveling is that solo play is much more rewarding, I agree. They should encourage group play while leveling by getting rid of the XP penalty or something like that.
Nubzi,
I know where you are at "figuratively" in the game with dwindling quests at that level. I can assure you that doesn't last long. Once you go to Evindem and Trollshaws, your quest log will most like stay at least 50-75% full of solo or "small group" quests, which can be done solo if you are a couple of levels higher if you had too.

Often I wonder if people on forums like this even grasp how hard it is to develop a game in this genre.
...
So, your point is that we should feel sorry for developers that do sloppy work because they were FORCED to make a MMO game?
No thats not my point, my point is many people don´t grasp how dificult it is to make a MMORPG.
Please tell us based on your experience and assumption that "many people don't grasp how difficult it is to make a MMORPG".
Can't you figure out the answer by reading this forum? You are going to get two different answers and I'm willing to bet you can figure out what they will be.

Why are people with under 10 posts posting their criticisms on people posting reviews?
Someone that gets to lvl 40 isn't allowed to share their thoughts on the game but someone with 9 posts is allowed to share his thoughts on other posters?
Can you smell the irony?
Smells kind of like shit.
Worry less about trying to moderate other people opinions.
Why is someone who joined these forums 8 months after me, telling me my post count matters? Take your own advice and shove it up your arse.
I get what you are saying, but it seems most these post lately are people stating basically that lvls 1-40 = lvls 41-80. As if they know what the end game is from skills, feats, loot and dungeons.
What characteristics of an MMORPG do you look at most?
