I would say that the circumstances sometimes dictate things, and as a company we are less and less willing to do anything that might harm our reputation, and we want to make sure that our games are super-high quality.

Talk about putting a brave face up to the customers. Since when does SOE care about its reputation with gamers? A little too late for that.
Actually brostyn, they don't have to care, considering they're the best publisher/developer out there. Smed's word not mine. From the same article, the 7th question down here's here's his take on things
"We're on generation two, whereas everybody else id on generation one - and I think that will give us a leg-up in our future titles."
