| Biography | I have played some "minor" MMOGs but my life changed when I started playing in the "major league". I was ignorant MMOGs could be played outside the countries in which their servers existed, so I thought I was stuck for life with the MMOGs that came to my country (Korean crap IMO) like Priston Tale and Ragnarok. But I had fun, actually. Until I saw a relative of mine playing City of Heroes, one of the games I used to dream of, being a comic books fan. I was playing the trial the next morning and then a whole new world opened to me - the world of MMOGs! Though City of Heroes/City of Villains (CoX) remains my dearest one, I love experimenting, one game at a time. Among the ones I''ve tried (Matrix Online, Everquest I & II, Final Fantasy XI, Tabula Rasa, Dungeons & Dragons Online, Anarchy Online, Rappelz, Archlord, Sword of the New World, Fury, Exteel), I really liked Dungeon Runners, World of Warcraft and Star Wars Galaxies (I''m a SW fan, ok??). |

I'm not a pre-Cu/NGE vet. That having been said, I agree with everything! Welcome back!
Now, if only they improved the interface, it'd make a huge difference to the game experience...
Happy Canada day, my fellow Canadian players!
Do I care about game graphics? Yes.
It's the first thing I see in a game, before gameplay, fun, commands. I remember trying Anarchy Online some 2 years ago. The outdated graphics made the other problems I had with the game much worse, and quickly I dropped it.
But it's not just textures - developers have to know what to do with them. Being a man in RL, female characters have to be sexy; armors and clothes must be varied; foes have to be original and different from each other (Korean MMOGs tend to fail on those last two items...).
Once I gave it a try but decided to stick to my other MMOGs. Now with this cheap promotion, I'm thinking of buying it - I know AO is having great improvements in the near future.
Where did you read there were 30 days free for vets? How long must one be away from the game to be eligible?
