  • Why would you be surprised? A game like this attracts mostly degenerates.

    Full loot upon death? = bully griefing gankers galore.

  • They don't have investors. No investors would be stupid enough to invest in something like this anymore at this point.

    They're getting money from some kind of special greek company start up grant for software developers there.

    And as someone else pointed out before -- are most likely hiring junior dev's from local colleges who are working mainly to get experience or for very low wage.

    Not a healthy approach when attempting to make the greatest MMORPG ever made.

  • But you didn't provide any proof.  All you did was link to some article from 2002 on some gaming site that is not even credible like IGN or Gamespot would be and you are trying to pass it off as 100% fact when it isn't.  So where's your crediblity?

    I can link to TONS of quotes from the Darkfall dev's about Darkfall over the years that have NEVER happened and stuff they speak of that cannot be proven to even exist. So what makes this one any different or more credible???

  • I don't need to prove it. The proof of burden lies with Darkfall since absolutely nothing they have ever said has been accomplished.  And you can even say they lied about many things over the years.

    So who's to say that text on some webpage is true when they've strung together so much bullshit over the last 7 years already?

  • There is no facts surrounding Darkfall.   That's the problem.
