    Guitar Hero MMO!!! a platform rpg where you run around the country leveling your guitar hero skills, grinding your way through concerts and guitar and drum battles, earning new clothing and equipment, learn new songs to play at your concerts and forming bands to play shows.

    After you form a band you get access to a manager who gives you missions like music videos and tours. Band members can purchase vehicles to ride around in. Get mad groupie bitches to follow you around.

     

    Blizzard + Activision c'mon its obvious.

  • from my personal experience when i was a pre-BC guild Main Tank in WoW, would have to be the first 2 bosses in BWL, Kiting with Razorgore was a bitch, and Vaelestraz pounding the living shit out of then killing your Main Tank instantly every 30 seconds while AOEing your entire 40-man raid, 2 minute fight of doom :p.

    Yes, I have played both Realm factions.  Yes, I am trying most of the 'different' (and I use that word losely) character classes.  Yes, I have leveled past 10th.  Yes, I have both teamed and soloed... ad infinitum - ad nausium.

    But what I have been playing is a clunky 1990's game, reminiscent of some outdated Diablo-Nintendo hybrid mutant PUG... thing.

    What the hell happened to RPGs where the sandbox was deeper than what I brought in stuck on the bottom of my sandals?

     

     

    This OP's thread is like they played Madden NFL then saying its shit cause you cant run off the field and tackle crowd members and then go to the carpark and drive cars around.

    I'll sum up your post:

     I didnt think i'd like this game, woah what do you know - i didnt, RPGs suck nowadays, i'll go play my 1990's Diablo/Nintendo game, why arent all RPGs Sandbox Games??!?!?

     

     

    Anyways, not all developers go full sandbox because of one common complaint.....gamers say "what the hell do i do now?". Linear Gameplay has a purpose it keeps people active.

    Everyone has different tastes, theres many companies making different games, go look for them.

    Complaining about RPGs in general not being sandbox in a WAR forum is stupid.

  • Ok only talking about low lvl here, i have no idea wat end game will be like. In the Empire VS Chaos scenario: Battle for Norland it just seems really unbalanced when 2-5 chosen charge into our battlelines.

    We have about ~6 witchhunters maybe ~4 bright wizards ~ 4 warrior priests, witch hunters being most common pretty much all the time, Chaos Chosen charge up in a group with or without healers and theres next to nothing we can do about it. we get hammerred all the time. i play a witch hunter lvl 10 its torture we just cant down tanks at all.

    the lack of tanks in the scenario hurts cause we never have defense versus melee opponents. and having a higher proportion of melee dps is a waste when we're facing tanks, destruction have the pleasure of not having to fight any, so are much more effective.

    are Order just playing bad? thoughts?

    i reckon unbalanced, 4 chaos class vs 3 empire. if we had a tank instead of a melee dps, it would be fine imo.

    there is times when we win, when theres good team work and lack of Chosen zergs.
