Yeah, there's no way to burn through the content by Fall when MoM is supposed to be released (I love how that acronym is an upsidedown WoW). Well, I suppose you might if you're a crazy fast power leveler, but even just fast people will take a while.
And my estimate on the release of MoM is late October or early November.
Everytime I see MoM I think of the game Minions of Mirth. It was a little Indy MMO that I played a few years back. It was a lot like EQ. Oh the memories :)

DX10 is a major upgrade to graphic quality over DX9 in LOTRO. Definitely worth the effort. I run two PCs with DX9 on one and DX10 on the other. Planning on upgrading the second to DX10 since its such a dramatic increase in visual quality.
It is really? I've heard it just adds depth to the shadows and that it's not all that big a deal.
Now I haven't seen any side by side, nor do I have Vista for the DX10, but I do love the game and it looks so nice in DX9, I can't believe it could be that much more in DX10 - makes me want to buy Vista :)
Interesting.
Once you have a regular account - can you upgrade to the collector's edition? What if you have a lifetime sub?

I am pretty sure both EU and US servers all have health populations, but you need to get out of the noobie area's to Bree. You will run into tons of people then.
Agreed.
I can't comment much on the EU servers, but from what I hear most of the US servers are pretty busy. They all have their peak times, but the server I'm on, Meneldor, seems to have a healthy pop on most every time I log in.
I thought the lifetime sub was great. For $199 - I can play the game with any free updates until the servers shut down. Not too shabby :)
