This video is pitiful - nothing but a bunch of crappy models walking around in a barren landscape one-shotting everything. If you carefully watch the video, you'll notice there is no real combat - no healing, no abilities, no buff or debuff icons, no nothing. Just a few swings of an axe and a force push animation by a caster. Good job guys.
Look at the facts people - this game has been in "development" for 8 years, and not one major publisher has touched it. Why do you think? If it was such a good game, it would be published. Take that at face value.
This game will end up somewhere between Dark and Light and Horizons (and no where near Shadowbane). Good luck with that.
You prefer massive single player RPG aka WoW or AoC with decent graphics?
This game was hyped as the next TRUE, ruthless pvp game, a la Shadowbane. That was what I was hoping for. But it will never be even close to Shadowbane.
To all the "fans", what is your explanation for the fact that every single publisher has passed on this game. Why do you think that is so?

This is more like EQ2 than Guild Wars.
In Guild Wars virtually every zone is private. In AoC, zones are not private, except for a few here and there.
If anyone played EQ2 during launch, they remember Commonlands 1, Commonlands 2, etc. The pops have since dwindled and I believe that they do not instance any more simply because they do not have enough players to justify it.
I would argue with the OP when he says "majority single player" - I have not done any single player since Tortage. There are a couple private instances in the 20s you could solo if you wanted to, but saying "mostly single player" is way off base.
I have a 36 Tempest of Set on Stormrage. I have specced mostly in the Lightning tree and I do insane dmg, both direct and AoE. The healing is not the greatest, but you get two Heal Over Time spells and a self-centered AOE heal. You can also wear light armor, not stuck in cloth.
Overall I like the class - my biggest complaint is there is no "Off Me" spell. The priest gets a knockdown and a fear, but all we get is a 5s stun (that now breaks on dmg) and a 5s aoe root (also breaks on dmg).

Downplaying the combat. This is simply absurd. The combat in AoC is LEAGUES ahead of any other MMO. Show me another MMO that has at least over 5 different attack animations for the same class same weapon!! Good Luck! Would you rather hit the auto-attack and watch the one-two swing animations you get from every OTHER MMO out there?? LOL!
Do you Role Play?
